We are very proud of the excellent and consistent achievements of our students at GCSE. The Progress that Calder High students’ make year on year, is within the top 15% nationally; and within the top few schools in Calderdale. Our students’ performance is equivalent to every child achieving about a 1/4 of a grade better in every subject at GCSE than students of the same ability nationally. The Year 11 students can be very proud of their achievements at GCSE. It is 5 years of hard work and the results demonstrate what can be achieved when students, teachers, and parents combine their efforts.

- 67% of students achieved five or more 4+ (A*-C) grades including English and Maths, compared to 61% nationally
- 38% of students achieved grade 5+ in both English and Maths
- 49.9 points is our average Attainment 8 score*, compared to 46.5 points nationally
