YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE
Following recent guidance from the government, there is now an expectation that all students in Key Stage 4 undertake a period of 5 days work experience.
Over the past few years, an increasing number of students at Calder High School have benefitted enormously from this, visiting an incredible range of work placements, however this will be the first time that all students in Year 10 undertake a placement between Monday 13th and Friday 17th July 2026.
It is very much hoped that the vast majority of students will be able to set up their own placement, however advice and support will be on hand for those that need it.
